From Africa with love is proud to present a beautiful range of eco-friendly home textiles by Skinny laMinx, founded by illustrator and designer Heather Moore of Cape Town, South Africa.

We stock Skinny laMinx tea towels, aprons and cushion/pillow covers (40x40 and 50x50 cm) in beautiful designs.

We have listed a few examples here.

All home textiles are screen-printed with water-based inks on all natural hopsack cotton.

The Leaves design started out as a cut paper artwork, that Heather turned into a repeat fabric design. The design is professionally printed in Cape Town onto a cotton/linen blend basecloth.

This cushion covercover is backed with plain cotton/linen blend fabric, and closes with a zip at the bottom. There's a woven Skinny laMinx tag in the side of the cushion.

Dimensions: to fit an inner 19.5" square (50x50cm)

This design is available in Autumn Gold and Winter grey.


 

Eep! Tea Towel - Tomato red

This 100% cotton teatowel has been screenprinted with my drawing of these birds of a feather in a tomato red. There's a Skinny laMinx tag at the back for hanging it up.

I've called it Eep!, because that's the noise I think these kinds of birds might make.

Dimensions: approx 46cm x 70cm (18" x 27")

Colours available: tomato red, duck egg blue, olive green

Cloudbirds Pillow cover

Cloud Birds design is printed in seafoam on a cotton/linen basecloth, using waterbased inks.

This little pillow is a perfect scatter to add a pop to your sofa, bedroom, or baby's room. It's backed in plain cotton/linen blend, closes with a zip at the bottom, and there's a woven Skinny laMinx label in the side.

Leaves Tea Towel - autumn gold

Inspired by autumn leaves scattered on a pathway, Heather made a paper cutout, which became this screenprinted tea towel in a golden autumn tone.

Leaves is screenprinted in waterbased inks onto a thick, luxuriously absorbant woven cotton that is perfect for drying the dishes.

There's a Skinny laMinx tag at the back for hanging the tea towel up to dry.

Colours: Autumn Gold and Winter Grey.

Orla Pillow Cover - Gold

The Orla design is screenprinted with waterbased ink onto a cotton/linen-blend basecloth. It's backed in the same natural toned cotton/linen, and closes with a zip at the base.

Dimensions: to fit inner measuring 19.5" square (50 x 50cm)

Care: Cold wash, warm iron

This design is also available in charcoal, grey, sap, lemon, olive and red.
